Project Description
Washington Rare Plant Care and Conservation will assist Avista Corp. with monitoring, seed collecting, and seed-banking of the federally–listed White Bluffs bladderpod (Physaria douglasii ssp. tuplashensis) located at Avista Corp.’s proposed Benton-Othello Transmission Project near Pasco, Washington. Rare Care’s work will include providing assistance with locating, monitoring and marking plants prior to construction, collecting and banking seeds, and developing an outplanting plan for future reintroduction of plants.
